Garwolin Bypass

The construction of Garwolin Bypass (part of National Road No. 17) was carried out from October 2005 to September 2007. Mosty Łódź as a consortium partner constructed bridge structures as part of the project.

14 engineering structures are located on the bypass:
  • 3 road interchanges
  • 2 structures within the bypass
  • footbridge
  • bridge over the Wilga River
  • 3 structures over the bypass
  • 2 access roads
  • 2 culverts

Project challenge: The soil conditions within the bypass were very complicated. It was necessary to reinforce the base of the foundation piles by chamber injection.
